I opened my eyes to see Briarpaw standing over me. Her eyes were filled with both relief in something I couldn't recognize.... it seemed like hatred. Towards me? Towards Grasseyes? I didn't know. All I could do was sit up painfully and looked confused, which I was. All I remembered was Grasseyes squishing me until I couldn't breath. I thought I was dead. Letting the emotions of my thoughts show, I pondered.
Where would I have gone then, when I was dead? I've heard stories of Starclan, but I knew i wouldn't have gone there. Shaking it out of my head, I snapped back into reality.
"So your alive." she commented. I rolled my eyes. "No, we both died and now we are in an exact replica of this forest." I said sarcastically, just to surface some humor. "Of course I'm alive! Now how did I get here, how AM I alive, and what happened to Grasseyes?" I said, almost overwhelming myself, if i didn't already do that to Briarpaw. But she looked at me calmly.
"I thought Grasseyes killed you. Maybe he thought you were dead, but after you.." she searched for the right word. "Got knocked unconscious, I wasn't worth it so he left to go back to the clan and say I can never come back. There was a storm, so I dragged you under this tree." she explained slowly. She looked down, almost looking....... embarrassed. I stared at her, perplexed at the moment. What was going on in her head? Thinking that made me want to know so badly. I mentally shook myself, getting this burning curiosity out of my head. Then I realized something in a jolt. She saved my life. She must've betrayed her clan-mate for a rouge, me. Why!?!? I wanted to ask her, but the words couldn't come out.
"Thank you." I seemed to say instead. "For saving my life." I added on. She looked back, almost in a daze. "You saved my life, I was returning the favor." she said in a dismissive tone, and i flinched. "Now we're even."
After that she seemed to notice my flinch, and she seemed to reflect it. "Why me, why a rouge?" I asked, my strong curiosity leaking out into my voice that I just couldn't hide. Instead of staring at her, I watched the storm, as if i was asking it instead.
"I don't know." she said quietly. "I wish i knew, but something made me want to help you, I guess because I knew you were innocent." she said, then looked down at her shuffling paws. "W-when I saw your fighting Greeneyes, I thought you would win, then you'd come after me next, sense I am in the clan, which you hate." she said.
"So why bother saving me?" Briarpaw asked. "I'm not worth killing yourself over." she admitted. No, you were worth it! You saved my life twice in one day! Again i stopped myself. I felt so tongue tied. Why can't the word come out of my mouth? I felt her stare burn my pelt and I turned my gaze back to her.
"Your not part of the clan anymore." I said, almost coldly. I regretted it at once, but I knew what I didn't regret, and that was saving Briarpaw.
"So I can't hate you, can I?" I finished. And Briarpaw's hurt rolled off her like waves. "I don't regret saving you, because I like you, okay?" she said quietly after a few heartbeats.
"And there's no point in this anymore if you don't feel the same way, though i thought you did." she choked out. She spun around, pushing herself from under the low-sweeping pine branches and out into the open storm.
"Briarpaw-" I said, but I knew it was too way. I let her out of my world and into her own. Though I regret what I said just then, almost at once. I thought it was for the best. he suddenly realized. I... I know what my destiny is, what I need to do, and if she gets too close, I know it will hurt her.
It was for the best.... it kept ringing in my ears, but I didn't know if I believed it. All I knew was that it was my destiny to bring my revenge onto the clans.

"Warning – dangerous frogs – do they attack?"
"Gotta be politically correct and include all of the local languages!"
"Wasn’t it easier to write what I’m allowed to do?"
" wait…. are candy bars usually UNdigestive? All this time I’ve been eating them…"
"Have you also been to yummi sushi?"

"You have to solve the riddle to order the dish."
"go left twice, than find some leaves to ur right, than give this tree a round of applause"
"Luckily, We’re not open tomorrow due to lack of costumers. Phew!"
"A little general much?"
"Because his love can only run on from 9-4."
"A collision seems imminent."
"Great! I was so tired of having to shop exactly at noon!"
"For the directionally challenged!"

Chapter Three: You have been Warned.
Automatically I leaped onto Grasseyes' back, digging my claws in and sinking my teeth into his ear. Briarpaw slipped out from underneath him, and then he flipped into his back, squashing me. The breath was driven out of me, and I felt suffocated. I clawed randomly, and claws met fur. Hopefully Grasseyes' but there was no strength behind my blow. I was going to die, I couldn't even breath. My throat was choked with hot fur. My whole life literally flashed before my eyes. What about my purpose? My revenge on the clans? How could I ever settle, where ever I go while Grasseyes had not yet paid for his murder. I bet he even killed before. I thought. Maybe there's more cats who want him dead too. Maybe the rest of the clan was like that too. Except for Briarpaw. I sunk my claws into Grasseyes. Too late, I thought.A dizzying blackness threatened to engulf me, but I fought back on it. But it blew me over until I was falling.. falling... into deeper, darker waters.

Briarpaw
I slid out from under Grasseyes, catching my breath in a few heartbeats. How dare he attack me, his own clan-mate? How dare he attack Haze, who was innocent, no matter how much I knew he probably hated the whole clan, including me. I deserved that hate, though. I should have stopped him as soon as I was suspicious of his ambitions. It was all my fault, and I knew it. But I knew it was Grasseyes' fault as well. I sprung, prepared to attack Grasseyes again, knowing even thought he was a traitor, but I'd still betray my clan for attacking him. But it was for the good of the clan.
This made me freeze, confused. Should I help this rouge I just met, or should I keep my position in the clan and let Grasseyes handle him? I didn't know. Haze's eyes blazed as he dug his claws into Grasseyes spine.
Don't kill him! Yet... I begged silently. I wondered if Haze beat Grasseyes, would he come after me next? So his revenge can be completely satisfied? I hoped not. Or maybe I did. I couldn't think straight as I watched Grasseyes flip onto his back, crushing Haze. I braced myself to hear a crack, but none came. Though the dark grey cat held him down, choking him. Suddenly something pinned me down from behind. I recognized the white and grey fur of Prickleflower, and a struggled from her grasp, clawing her as much as I could. Prickleflower winced, but her grip on me was too tight. I could barely crane my neck to see what was happening to Haze, but as soon I found a glimpse of his black fur, Prickleflower's paw pushed my head down, forcing me to watch as Haze went limp. His eyes rolled, and Grasseyes got off him.
I snarled in rage, clawing both of of Prickleflower's paws that were holding me down and she let go. I whirled around, my eyes gleaming with hate. Grasseyes was shocked, and took a step backward. He looked at Pricklenose as if to say. 'It's not even worth it.' I bared my teeth, taking a pace forward, a warning. But he bared his teeth as well. "You've been warned what happens if you speak out against me." he growled. "Don't even think of coming back to the clan now, your going to be a traitor in their eyes." he said, his eyes glinting in satisfaction. He turned away, running towards to direction of camp. After a moment's hesitation, Prickleflower followed. Which left me alone. I thought for a long while, wondering what to do. Become a kittypet? No way. I guess I'd have to be a rouge, living on my own. Then suddenly I remembered Haze, and rushed toward him. He was completely still, I couldn't even see the rise and fall of his chest. I sighed, feeling Grief. How do I care more about him more then my clan? I thought in horror. I just met him!
I was so confused, wondering what I should do with him. I couldn't take his body to the clan, no. I knew Grasseyes wasn't lying. I'd have to to something thought. I searched for the right this restlessly, but then it started to rain. I growled in frustration. It seemed Starclan has rained down on my parade, literally.
I dragged his body gently into shelter from the raging storm.

Chapter Two: Not yet, but soon.
I braced myself for claws to rake me pelt, but Briarpaw's claws were unsheathed. She looked at me, not wanting to hurt me for some reason. I was almost gonna tell her to just get on with it already, but she leaped onto my back, and pressed my face to the ground.
"I'm pretend to chase you. Now go!" she whispered, and I shrugged easily out of her grasp, taking off, with her following, yowling a challenge. The other two warriors watched in silence, smiling after us, probably satisfied that I was defeated by an apprentice.
We kept running, and then I skidded to a halt when we reached the stream. She was about to stop, but it was too late, and she crashed into me, and we went tumbling into the stream. I hissed as I felt water seep through my pelt, making me shiver even through it was green-leaf. I dragged myself out, with Briarpaw behind, and I shook my pelt vigorously.
I looked at her, confused. But before I asked her the question that was burning on my mind. I pricked my ears, trying to see if the other two other cats were following in pursuit. Briarpaw guessed what I was doing. "Don't worry, Grasseyes and Prickleflower aren't going to follow us. They always have 'great confidence' in me." she said, saying the last few words in a mock tone. What goes on in this clan of hers?
I wondered, but shook it away in a instant. I can't go back there, yet.
"Wait wait wait wait." I said, backing up the conversation a bit. "Why would you help me, a rouge?" I said, the burning question on my tongue now quenched. She had a thoughtful look, as if to ask herself. Why did I help him? I sat, waiting for an answer and digging my claws into the ground. Wow, how impatient I was.
Briarpaw shrugged. "It looked like... you weren't trying to steal prey or cross the border, you looked.. thoughtful." she said, noticing the unsatisfied look on my face, she went on. "Like you didn't even notice to border. I'm sure you didn't. Right?" she asked. And I thought quickly, but nodded a little too quickly. But she didn't catch it. "That's what I thought. You didn't even cross the border." she said. I nodded, agreeing with most of that. But I knew I came to the border just to watch, and even though she believed I was unaware of the clan's border, the little lie won't change anything. The fact is I did nothing wrong.
"What's your name?" she wondered. "Haze." I answered. "And your Briarpaw?" I asked, and she nodded. "Grasseyes is my mentor." she said. Grasseyes! now I knew why that name was so familiar. I remembered his green eyes, that were frosty cold. That night was so clear, that I shivered from the wind and rain when it happened. I felt a deep growl building in my chest. She cocked her head at me. "Is something wrong?" she asked. I debated to tell her it's nothing, or tell her the truth. Maybe she'll reconsider this 'clan' of hers if she learned what happens when she's not around. Or maybe it's like that everyday for her, a narrow escape with her life? "When I was a kit." I started. "My mother crossed the border, after chasing a squirrel." I said, and my eyes turned to anguish as she crossed the border, the squirrel's bushy tail disappeared through the fronds. Too much remembrance. She might think I'm crazy.
"They caught her. She didn't know, but I knew it was Grasseyes, the light brown tabby cat said his name. She was badly wounded from that fight with Grasseyes, but she made it out of it alive. But the next day she died of her wounds. Just because of a mistake." I spat out the last words, feeling the anger as I stared down at my mother's broken body with my remaining siblings, wanting to get revenge. Not yet. I always told myself. But soon. I reassured. A look of shock slowly spread across her face. "I knew something wrong was with Grasseyes. It seems like he's leader already, when he's not even deputy. But every cat listens to him, for they fear him. Not out of respect." Briarpaw said, pausing to take in a deep breath. "And Burnstar doesn't even have a clue." she muttered darkly. "He's done an act in front of Burnstar, the fox-hearted coward!" she said, snarling out the last few words.
"Oh, I am?" I hear a growl, and Grasseyes himself sprung out of the bushes, bowling Briarpaw over, and she let out a screech of pain.
